2:5. યહોવા કહે છે, “તેની સાથેનો મારો કરાર જીવન તથા શાંતિ આપવાનો હતો. અને તે મેં આપ્યાં. તેમણે મારા પ્રત્યે આદરભાવ રાખવાનો હતો અને પહેલાં તેઓ મારા નામનો ડર રાખીને ચાલતા હતા પણ ખરા.

2:5. "My covenant with him was designed to bring life and peace. I gave its statutes to him to fill him with awe, and he indeed revered me and stood in awe before me.
