9:6. હા, આ યહૂદિઓ માટે હું ઘણું દુ:ખ અનુભવું છું. એમને આપેલું વચન દેવ પાળી ન શક્યો, એમ હું કહેવા માગતો નથી. પરંતુ ઈસ્રાએલના માત્ર થોડાક યહૂદિઓ જ દેવના સાચા લોકો છે.

9:6. It is not as though the word of God had failed. For not all those who are descended from Israel are truly Israel,

9:6. Well then, has God failed to fulfill his promise to Israel? No, for not all who are born into the nation of Israel are truly members of God's people!
