9:20. દેવને પ્રશ્ન કરશો નહિ. તમે માત્ર માનવ છો; અને માનવોને એવો કોઈ હક્ક નથી કે તેઓ દેવને (આવા) પ્રશ્નો પૂછી શકે. માટીની બરણી તેના બનાવનારને પ્રશ્નો પૂછતી નથી. “તમે મને આવી જુદી જુદી વસ્તુઓ રૂપે કેમ બનાવી?”

9:20. But who indeed are you— a mere human being— to talk back to God? Does what is molded say to the molder, "Why have you made me like this?"

9:20. No, don't say that. Who are you, a mere human being, to argue with God? Should the thing that was created say to the one who created it, "Why have you made me like this?"

9:20. Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why didst thou make me thus?

9:20. But who are you, O man, to answer back to God? Will what is molded say to its molder, "Why have you made me like this?"

9:20. Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed [it,] Why hast thou made me thus?

9:20. nay, but, O man, who art thou that art answering again to God? shall the thing formed say to Him who did form [it], Why me didst thou make thus?

9:20. Don't ask that. You are only human and have no right to question God. A clay jar does not question the one who made it. It does not say, "Why did you make me like this?"

9:20. But indeed, O man, who are you to reply against God? Will the thing formed ask him who formed it, "Why did you make me like this?"
