5:12. એક માણસના (આદમના) લીધે આ જગતમાં પાપ પેઠું. પાપ દ્વારા મૃત્યુ પણ આવ્યું. આ જ કારણે સૌ લોકોને મરવું જ પડશે-કેમકે સઘળાએ પાપ કર્યું છે.

5:12. So then, just as sin entered the world through one man and death through sin, and so death spread to all people because all sinned—

5:12. When Adam sinned, sin entered the world. Adam's sin brought death, so death spread to everyone, for everyone sinned.
