3:16. યોહાને બધા લોકોને ઉત્તર આપ્યો, “મેં તો તમારું ફક્ત પાણીથી બાપ્તિસ્મા કર્યુ પણ હું જે કરું છું, તેનાથી વધારે શક્તિશાળી વ્યક્તિનું આગમન થઈ રહ્યું છે. હું તો તેના પગના જોડાની દોરી ખોલવા માટે પણ યોગ્ય નથી. તે પવિત્ર આત્માથી અને અજ્ઞિથી તમારું બાપ્તિસ્મા કરશે.

3:16. John answered them all, "I baptize you with water, but one more powerful than I am is coming— I am not worthy to untie the strap of his sandals. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.

3:16. John answered their questions by saying, "I baptize you with water; but someone is coming soon who is greater than I am-- so much greater that I'm not even worthy to be his slave and untie the straps of his sandals. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.

3:16. John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but there cometh he that is mightier than I, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you in the Holy Spirit and in fire:

3:16. John's answer to this was, "I baptize you in water, but there is someone coming later who is able to do more than I can. I am not good enough to be the slave who unties his sandals. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.
