33:21. એ જ પ્રમાણે મેં મારા સેવક દાઉદ સાથે કરાર કર્યો છે કે, રાજ્યશાસન પર હંમેશા તેનો વંશજ રાજ કરશે. વળી લેવી કુળના યાજકો સાથે મેં કરાર કર્યો છે કે, તેઓ હંમેશા મારી સેવા કરશે અને આ કરારોનો પણ ભંગ થઇ શકે નહિ.

33:21. could my covenant with my servant David and my covenant with the Levites ever be broken. So David will by all means always have a descendant to occupy his throne as king and the Levites will by all means always have priests who will minister before me.

33:21. only then will my covenant with my servant David be broken. Only then will he no longer have a descendant to reign on his throne. The same is true for my covenant with the Levitical priests who minister before me.

33:21. then may also my covenant be broken with David my servant, that he shall not have a son to reign upon his throne; and with the Levites the priests, my ministers.
