54:9. દેવ કહે છે, “આ તો નૂહના વખતના જેવું છે, જેમ તે વખતે મેં પ્રતિજ્ઞા કરી હતી કે, હું ફરી કદી પૃથ્વી ઉપર જળપ્રલય નહિ લાવું. તેમ આજે હું તને વચન આપું છું કે, ફરી કદી હું તારા પર ગુસ્સો કરીશ નહીં, કે તને ઠપકો દઇશ નહિ.”

54:9. "As far as I am concerned, this is like in Noah's time, when I vowed that the waters of Noah's flood would never again cover the earth. In the same way I have vowed that I will not be angry at you or shout at you.

54:9. "Just as I swore in the time of Noah that I would never again let a flood cover the earth, so now I swear that I will never again be angry and punish you.

54:9. For this is as the waters of Noah unto me; for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah shall no more go over the earth, so have I sworn that I will not be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee.

54:9. "This is like the days of Noah to me: as I swore that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth, so I have sworn that I will not be angry with you, and will not rebuke you.

54:9. For this [is as] the waters of Noah unto me: for [as] I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth; so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee.

54:9. "For this is like the days of Noah to me: as I swore that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth, so I have sworn that I will not be angry with you and will not rebuke you.

54:9. For this is {cf15i as} the waters of Noah unto me: for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth, so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee.

54:9. For, the waters of Noah [is] this to Me, In that I have sworn -- the waters of Noah Do not pass again over the earth -- So I have sworn, Wrath is not upon thee, Nor rebuke against thee.

54:9. God says, "Remember, in Noah's time I punished the world with the flood. But I made a promise to Noah that I would never again destroy the world with a flood. In the same way, I promise that I will never again be angry with you and say bad things to you.

54:9. For this is as the waters of Noah to me; for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah shall no more go over the earth, so have I sworn that I will not be angry with you, nor rebuke you.

54:9. For H3588 this H2063 [is] [as] the waters H4325 of Noah H5146 unto me: for H834 [as] I have sworn H7650 that the waters H4325 of Noah H5146 should no more H5750 go H4480 H5674 over H5921 the earth; H776 so H3651 have I sworn H7650 that I would not be wroth H4480 H7107 with H5921 thee , nor rebuke H4480 H1605 thee.
